Dr. James Paratore completed his medical degree at the University of Notre Dame in Fremantle in 2016.  Prior to his medical studies, he worked as a pharmacist in various parts of WA and the UK.  Dr. Paratore completed his Masters of Public Health from the University of Sydney in 2018, and completed his internship and residency at Fiona Stanley and Fremantle Hospital.  He achieved Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners’ and has ongoing involvement with the GP training program.

Dr. Paratore has experience working in emergency medicine, paediatrics, general medicine and geriatrics, as well as mental health. He enjoys all aspects of general practice, but has a keen interest in paediatrics, cardiology, infectious diseases, chronic diseases and preventative health. He is also skilful in Implanon insertions and removals, iron infusions, skin checks and minor procedures.

Outside of work, Dr. James enjoys helping his father with his fishing business, restoring vehicles, cooking, and photography. He is fluent in Italian and loves spending time with his beautiful family.
