Opened in 2015 by Directors Dr Richa Singh and Dr Karen Majda, Queensgate Medical Centre brings together a team of highly experienced and dedicated medical professionals.

All of our doctors are fully registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and bring a high level of clinical expertise to their practice. Operating from our clinic, they are also Fellows or Registrars of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP), who are committed to working in partnership with patients to deliver the highest standard of medical care.

Wendy, Fiona, and Elise bring a wealth of experience, warmth, and professionalism to our practice. Whether they’re assisting with care plans, conducting health assessments, administering vaccinations, or supporting chronic disease management, our nurses work closely with our doctors to ensure every patient receives personalised, high-quality care.Their approachable nature and genuine commitment to patient health make them an integral part of our team — and a comforting presence for patients at every stage of their healthcare journey.

Our receptionists are much more than the first point of contact—they are a vital part of our healthcare team. With their friendly and professional approach, they ensure that every patient has a warm, welcoming, and efficient experience from the moment they step through our doors.

Our dedicated administration team brings a diverse range of skills and a genuine passion for helping others, all while creating a positive atmosphere for both patients and staff.

Practice Manager

Ashleigh Turner

Ashleigh joined Queensgate Medical Centre in 2020 as a valued member of our reception team, where she quickly demonstrated exceptional organisational skills, a friendly and approachable demeanour, and a deep passion for patient care. Her natural leadership qualities and eagerness to learn led her to transition into the role of Practice Manager in 2023.

In her current position, Ashleigh draws upon her wealth of experience and knowledge to oversee the day-to-day operations of the practice. She takes immense pride in cultivating a positive workplace culture, which has been instrumental in boosting staff morale and contributing to the growth and success of the practice. Her efforts have also supported the expansion of our medical team, ensuring that we continue to meet the evolving needs of our patients.

Outside of work, Ashleigh is a keen photographer and loves spending time with her young family and her dog, Chloe.

Assistant Practice Manager

Denika James

Denika is the Assistant Practice Manager at Queensgate Medical Centre and brings with her a wealth of experience, a calm presence, and a genuine passion for patient care.

Her journey with the practice began as a receptionist, and through dedication, professionalism, and a strong commitment to supporting both patients and her team, Denika has steadily grown into a valued leadership role. Her background in healthcare administration spans medical training organisations, occupational health, aged care, and general practice — giving her a well-rounded perspective and depth of knowledge.

Denika is a trusted point of contact for both staff and patients. Her approachable nature and steady support play a big part in creating the warm, welcoming environment Queensgate is known for.

Outside of work, Denika is a devoted mum to two young boys who keep her on her toes and fill her world with energy and laughter.

As Nurse Manager at Queensgate Medical Centre, Fiona brings not only clinical expertise but also a deep and genuine passion for patient care.

With 40 years of nursing experience under her belt, Fiona leads our nursing team with compassion, professionalism, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care to every patient who walks through our doors.

Her approachable nature and abundance of knowledge make her a much-loved member of the team—by both staff and patients alike.

Fiona is the heart of our clinical operations, always going the extra mile to ensure patients feel safe, supported, and respected.
